This is such a lovely scene Chris. Love the undulations amongst the rocks & green moss/algae.
Just for my academic interest I tried couple of crops which I thought of sharing.

    1) IMHO, the bottom region of the image until the FG rock was not contributing much to the composition (though it is not distracting for sure). Hence thought of cropping a bit from bottom (& a bit from top).

    2) Tried this version below since I felt this upper half of the image could form an interesting image on its own.

    Just my thoughts... :)

Very nice Chris, I think I like Kaushik first repost as the green moss really frames it nicely.

I think either the original image or the crop works...the crop being stronger and eliminating the glare off the of the rocks in the lower left. Did you use a circular polarizer?

    Hey Chris,
I did a highlight recovery in PS.........pretty agressive with that.........as i wasn't bothered by the lower rock ( I felt it acted as a nice anchor)....but the upper pool/flow was a tad hot.....and I took proportionally off the right.....to aid the comp some........finally a tad of contrast just to add the final pop.
    Let me know your thoughts.

oops...forgot to mention the hot spot on the water...

I shoot a lot of waterfalls...and use a grad (sometimes inverted) to reduce hot spots on the water...

Roman, I like your rendition the best. A nice and tight comp without the pinkish cast...

    Roman,
Your rendition looks pretty good. I have started using the highlights tool a bit more. I didn't use it on this image but I must say i like the results. Thanks to you and everyone for all your input.

    God's precious light to all,

    Chris

I like the PS work in Roman's repost. However, i also wondered if the original presentation could have included more on top. The upper waterfall adds to the cascade effect, but being cut off reduces its effect.
