From this summer in Newfoundland got some whales, first for me and hope not the last.

We had an encounter with mother and calf. The little guy was playful and would cross under the boat (upside down) and a couple of times got his eye out of the water and checked us out !!! Neat

My friend went to all these places too Al in the summer in Newfoundland, and got a humpback pretty large in the frame @135. That's how close he got. Cool image of a beautiful animal.
