    Coyote from the Wichita Mountains Wilflife Refuge in OK. Stalking prairie dogs here as the sun was going down. This was manual focus since the 30D can autofocus the 500 f/4.5 loses auto with the 1.4x attached.
    30D, 700mm, f/6.3, 1/500 sec, ISO 400

    Sweet light on that animal Chris Intense look and concentration !! Might only crop the grass on the left !!! Big Congrats !!!

    Lovely light. You place anything in this light and it turns out magical. I like the looks on its face.

    One of my nemesis animals during the ICF Pro-Tour....and in such beautiful light. Nicely framed...but it could use more sharpness IMO.

    I would have preferred not to have the OOF in the FG but know what you are facing. You could clone out that bush on the left though.
