    Blue-eyed Cockatoo (cacatua ophthalmica),
    found ONLY on the island of New Britain, Papua New Guinea.
    Taken at Kimbe, West New Britain.

    D300, 70-200 VR, 1/250s, f/2.8, ISO400 @ 200mm.

    What a beautiful blue eyering. Nice that you have him feeding. It seems a bit dark. I'm wondering if a bit of fill flash wouldn't make this one even better. I might be tempted in cropping a bit from the right so as to concentrate more on the bird as well.

    HI Marc,

    Love the colors and feeling on this one. I have to disagree with Lana, I think fill flash would take away the soft and gentle feeling on this one. However, I wish for more room to the bottom.

    Another vote for a little fill flash - at -1.7 or -2 stops I think it would bring more detail into the shaded areas without taking away the softness.
