    Note: This image was painted on my last trip to The Big Apple. I went to visit my cousin who lives in Westchester County located in Up State New York; in the sleepy little Village of Croton on The Hudson River. This is the famous Croton Dam.


    History: The Croton Dam is part of the New York City water supply system, which stretches across the Croton River, near Croton on The Hudson, about 22 miles north of New York City. Construction began in 1892, and was completed in 1906.

    Wow, I like this image! the perspective, the variety of colors, textures, angles, trees, movement and static. . So much to look at.

    Beautiful framing and love the colours on the bricks/trees. The 1/45s shutter speed gives the falls just the right look for me!
