    This is one of the few picks that I took yesterday. Unfortunately the bird activity on FL was slow.
    My self critique: whites may be hot, and wish for more bird separation. That said I like the action :), water drops and the fish.

    Canon 40D, 500mm
    1/4000, F5, ISO400, 500mm

    I agree with your self critique, Raul. More separation would be nice but the intense gaze of both birds, flying drops and scooting fish work well. Maybe a little CCW rotation.

    I like the action and the visible 'target'. I would tone down the whites some more.

    The flying drops and the fish are super cool :-) I also agree with your self critique.

    I agree with you Raul but what wonderful timing to catch the fish and the water droplets. I find it to be a very interesting capture. Congratulations !!!

    As you mentioned, the whites are hot, but I just love the fish on top of the water and the predatory look of both birds. While more separation might have been good too, I like the poses as captured..

    After all is said and done I still think this is a great image, and the target and action do it for me, thank you for sharing.

    Good one with the fish adding a lot to the pic.
