I used this crude set up to lure these bluebirds into camera range. I really should work on getting a better backdrop. and of course there is noise in the background as well. All in all it's still a lot of fun.

    C & C welcome.

Heaps of potential with this set-up, Roy. You may get away with a smaller aperture number(bigger aperture) to buy some shutter speed. The image as presented could probably stand a bit more sharpening for web and a touch more contrast. Look forward to more.

    Roy,
I agree with Tony. I would also like some more space at the top, right and little bit at the bottom. Look forward to many more images.

Refining your set up is half the fun! I would agree that the image is a little tight, but I like the berry perch and the positions of both birds. You might consider including some green leaves with the perch to add color and interest. Looking forward to seeing more of your images at your set up.

I like the captured scene and agree on a wider crop and might increase the saturation and/or contrast.

I like the setting and the bg is also nice.

I noticed that you saved the image as Adobe 98.
you should convert to srgb for the web and the colors improve

like this with just a bit of sharpening added
