    Default Playing with Levels

I have been processing a big folder full of image from a summer trip to Viera Wetlands and the Click Ponds, located in Melbourne, Florida.
One morning there was a feeding frenzy and I have at least a hundred of Snowies in all poses. After a while it gets boring, and you all know what happens when we get bored:eek:

I don't consider myself a photo journalist, nor a recorder of reality. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't and what i present as the final product may be closer to what was on my mind rather that what my eye saw. I am comfortable with that, and if you are a purist, I am comfortable with too.

Here's what I did to add a little pizazz to an image, just using Level. Moving the left (blacks) slider to the right, and the other two (whites and mid-tones) to the left. many possibilities, but I settled for this one.
    Original is under for comparison.

I like the jazzed-up one! Best of all I like the diagonal splash line.

Fabs, I'm more of a purist at heart, but I do like this one. Wild effect, but pretty cool!

Great idea and cool result. I like the pose and the colors almost hurt. :)

Its different and the colors are intense but I like the dramatic difference between this shot from the original.
