    The eye just looks a little lighter to me which I don't think it needs. I checked the colours with my picker and you were getting good values. This is what I tried. Don't know what you'll think of it. Too sharp maybe?

    Lady Denise,
    This is excellent. I like the up close composition. The color rendition is in check, you have sharp details and a great head angle. I like the perch. well done. Lady Jackie's repost on the eye, gives it the seal of perfection and my seal of approval...a big congrats...proud of you...:):cool:

    love your repost denise!! very well done! it almost looks too big in the frame!!! love the meadowlarks. need to go up north a ways here to get some more for this year myself!!

    This is a very good shot, I like the background and the colors are dead on! Agree with Alfred, would add a small amount to the left side if you have it.
