Shot this is a series, in the middle of a full on African thunderstorm. There were a couple of males in this pride, who got up after noticing the ladies had gone to fetch dinner. :) D3. 300 F2.8 VR & 1/200 f2.2. -0.67 iSO 800. Not sure why it was snarling, whether the rain, or the other male that was nearby.

Excellent placement in frame I like him in the corner with plenty room to look into and the top of the head did not merge with the horizon line or grass to the left !!! I like this image a lot !!

I agree with Alfred on this.

Also, the thunderstorm and overcast really saturated the colors to nice affect. Overall feel to the image and very pleasing.

    David,
I like the composition and framing. The colours and the rain drops give a nice feel to the image. A lovely image. Thanks for sharing.

Nice comp, colors, and feel to this image. Your snarling subject adds to the feel of being grumpy in the rain.
