I caught this image during a bird of prey show last spring in Callaway Gardens, Georgia. They are a great place to practice flight photography. Among the few hundred pictures I took, this one was one of the sharpest and most striking composition.

Beautiful coming at you pose, sharp where it needs to be,
I'd take some yellow out of the green BG.

You don't usually see a raptor flight image made with a macro lens. Wonderful sharpness and detail. Well done.

The white balance was out. I also removed some saturation in the yellows and added some contrast. You are right to mention that a 150mm macro lens is not usual for birding. I chose this lens that day due to the proximity of the birds and the fast focusing and sharpness of the lens.
Thank you for your positive critiques.

Second post works much better as far as color and contrast goes. Lovely eye contact and wings.

Repost is much better. Kind of cool using a macrpo for BIF. Nice job.
