The white morph was fishing along the beach of Sanibel near the peer. We had fun following him and observing his fishing skills.

I like the pose and the fish adds to it and might remove the sheen on the bird's bill.

Very nice Judy. I like the fact that you can see both the bird's and the fish's eyes.

This species is not often at this location. It looked as if the image was not sharp until I cleaned my dinner off of my glasses... Like the raised foot, the greenback, and the EXP. Was the bird piering at the peer or peering at the pier???

Lovely pose and fish meal is great. I'm seeing a thin white line around the bird especially along it neck and back - not sure what this is but assume some processing artifact. Are the dark specks in the breaking water some organic detritus that was in the water?

I see what Tony means...and its also visible around the fish's head. I love the bronze colouring in the water!

I had not noticed the line until I read it, but do now.

Lovely comp, and like the raised foot showing movement. The whites are well exposed, and the fish is a bonus. Well captured Judy.
