    Hi Folks:

While up at Madera Kubo B&B on Tuesday, I ran into this little cutie giving the birds as run for their money. Thought of Nonda the moment he jumped down on the railing. Light just starting to show over the mountain under the leaves, needed to add some flash.

    Enjoy

Hi Gus - love the pose - would fix the red eye and some of the bright highlights in the BG. also perphaps abit more DOF - AS looks like the body was the point of focus and not the nose/eyes.

    :)

Hi Gus Love the pose but do try to focus on the eyes Would also select the eyes desaturate to remove the red and darken. Go to doge/burn ... sponge is right under and works like a charm !!! Nonda would be proud of this one !!!

I must have had red-eye when I posted the original - will have to cut my daily vino from 1 glass to 1/2

    Hi there Uncle Gus!

Love that pose and the fluffed tail!!! DOF looks fine to me, tootsies are in focus just fine. Looks more like a miss on AF which way easy to do since they can 'twitch fast". However squirrels are always moving so 1/160th shutter can get you really easy.

The pose and eye contact are classic, GOOD JOB!
