    Hi again,

This is a follow up to my image yesterday, with some of the legs visible in this one. Have cleaned up the water too, and quick masked out some distracting background elements.

    Thanks for looking.
    Cheers, Dean

Looks very good. I like the soft light, details and eye contact. Maybe a slightly higher color temperature and/or more saturation?

Very nice, Dean. Definitely more dynamic pose with leg and ripples. Great job.

Excellent--great looking bird. Good eye contact and sharpness--just a slight blur of the leg, probably due to the slow shutter speed.

    HI Dean,

Re-post made it for me. Excellent low angle, colors and sharpens. We don't get to see these guys up close here in FL.

Dean, the repost looks great. Sharp detail and good pose. A little more room in front would be good if you have it. Wonderful capture.

I took the liberty to use a newish plugin for photoshop, Nik Vivesa, what do you think?

    Hi Phil,

Thanks for having a play with it...I've been thinking about that plug-in for a while. I think it's probably made the bird just the slightest tad too 'bright'...it was probably somewhere between my repost and yours in terms of colour when I made the image. But the background really looks great. Thanks very much. Will definitely look at getting that plug in soon...you've obviously found it worthwhile?

    Cheers, Dean

you must be online, I just started to play with it. It may be a little bright. It looks like a great plugin, about $200 if I remember. Not sure but Lightroom 2 might be able to do similar.

Nice pose. The repost is even better. Maybe just a tad more space on the right?
