    As the sun was setting we photographed a herd of bison in the Noris Geyser Basin area

    Hi John this is stunning Would consider one image of just the Bison in that beautiful grass as a pano !!! Do like it as presented just suggesting and alternate !!! Did I say I like this a lot !!!! :)

    John,
    I agree with Alfred. The grass is so lovely, just a pano with the grass would be nice. I would crop the present composition just above the steam, basically the dark portion of the image. Having said that, in the present image, I like the placement of the bison and the steam, the pattern, the strong silhouette. Overall a nice image.

    This is really beautiful, John. I also like the original but think a pano would be drop dead gorgeous. My favorite part of this whole thing is the little rim of light bouncing off his horn. You might also look at sharpening up the head area as it looks a little softer than the back end/tail.
