This little guy flew over the railing's reflections at Anhinga Trail, Everglades NP

Of course, the best pose was not over the clean water :(

Too funny....they're like children and have minds of their own. An outstanding flight shot. Terrific exposure and view of the topside....showing the great detail. The bird is really sharp and well defined on the BG and unless you hadn't told me, I probably wouldn't have even thought about there being a railing in the BG.

The geometric patterns in the background complement the bird's stretched-out pose. Clean water fits the formula, but this one is more original.

    Hi Fabs,

Great in flight pose, color, and sharpness in this image. You made the best of the bg reflection too. Well done!

Your scary, you just keep getting better. The BG bokeh looks good to me and I think contrasts the birds lines while still looking like "natural habitat". Clean image. / oh yea, critique, hmm lets see - ah, make your copyright logo smaller so we can see more of the picture!

    Gorgeous image!!!!!

I just moved out to the country and a whole flock of black birds land and take off in the front yard every morning. Looks like I need to learn how to shoot birds! ;-)
