    Good catch, Dany. Good sharpness on the body and nice pose and wing position. Pushing up your ISO will buy you a bit more shutter speed and gain some definition in the wings while still retaining some motion blur in the tips. The image looks a bit soft and BG noise at that ISO suggests it may be a significant crop. I would clone the bright spots off the beak as these have been accentuated by sharpening for web presentation. Look forward to more of your shots.

    Dany,

    It was tough for me to read the specs included on the right side of the picture in small font. I like the pose and the crop. Tony has already covered most of the points. I wouldn't mind the wing blur if the eye were sharp. Thanks for sharing.

    Good advice by Tony. For flight with the 50D I use ISO 400 at a minimum, and usually ISO 800.

    Nice! I like the wing blur and the complementary BG color. Great placement of the bird in the frame, too.
