Full frame shot with a crop off the left and right to change the aspect ratio. I liked the pose of the bird in this one. The light is hard but was right over my shoulder so I think it works OK. I brightened the water to try and get separation of the beak from the background. Is this OK? Comments appreciated.

I like the pose and details. The whites look a bit gray on my monitor and I find the bird too tight in the frame.

How's this version? No crop at all here and I brought up the whites.

I prefer the repost, Leroy. Water and pose are great. Suspect the virtual legs still extend beyond the frame, so a bit more space would be nice.
