Banded Plover over Eggs
An uncommon visitor to my neck of the wood - driven in from the western NSW by severe drough conditions. During late spring rain just before Christmas about a dozen pairs nested. The same rain brought on the Patterson's Curse (The purple flowers).
Canon EOS 5D, Canon 100-400mm at 320mm, Natural side-light with fill flash -1.3 stops compensation. Polarizer, Hide, Tripod.
