This is the same tiger cub posted in the previous post. Link given below

The Tiger cub got comfortable with me and later on started yawning. In this image, I have got a bit of the sky. Unfortunately, I don't like the sky portion. I cropped about 20% to remove a major portion of the sky. This is what I had indicated in my previous post, I am ok with the out of focus grass etc but I find it difficult if there is bright sky. Ofcourse, the sky or no portion of the image is burnt out, but I think it ruins the picture. Look forward to your opinion.

From the small size of the canines you can also make out that this is a cub.

I like the low angle and the yawn. I think that I would have been looking constantly over my shoulder for the mother!

    Hi Sabyasachi,
I really like the texture, color, and light of this image. Great sharpness (teeth, as well as the photo) and a neat look into that mouth. I'd crop out that OOF rock in the FG to about half.

He's so beautiful and I found a few of the environmental elements distracting so I went in and cropped him down. I also copied the BG layer and did a multiply blend mode on the BG only, masking off the tiger.

Usually I love that you have the environment around the animal but with the OOF grass and the partial tree - I really thought his yawn needed more attention. Hope you like it. Hey, if nothing else, I solved your sky problem! :D

    Thanks Julie!

You brought the focus back to my kid. I actually felt lot of affinity towards the cub, as if it were my kid.

You did a nice job of blending. The bg looks nice and the crop works. Unfortunately, it is a small 10D file. Ofcourse, I was shooting in Raw so the details are there. Thanks again.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi
