    The reflections in the water were really beautiful. A combination of cottonwood trees with yellow leaves and some late afternoon light helped provide a nice setting for this wood duck drake.

    Canon 50D
    500mm f/4 L
    1/800 @ f/5.6
    ISO 400

    Keith,
    I like the colourful reflections in the water. I would like to crop a bit from the top. Some more space at the bottom would have helped. You may try some more sharpening around the eyes. Overall a nice picture.

    The water is the main attraction of this image...and Wood Duck drakes are hard to beat!! I only wish for a lower angle (if it was at all possible) and a touch of fill to help with the blacks. Still very nice :-)

    Love that water Keith. I'd like to see the bird a little brighter but am fine with the crop. Can't get enough of that water!
