    Took this image of the oystercatcher flying along the beach on the last trip to Fort Desoto. It was a cold week and not much action.

    I love the pose and ambient in the BG, light is nice and the open bill is a big plus! Congratulaitons!

    I find no faults with the bird itself and really like him but also wish the horizon was not intersecting him.

    Really beautiful flight, the calling is a plus, they are such vocal birds! Also wish he was flying lower or higher because of the shoreline.

    I think this is the first oyster catcher in flight shot I've come across. Well captured. The bird is great. I might wish for a cleaner background but it's really not bad as is. Thanks for sharing this one.

    A spectacular image for all the reasons already mentioned Judy Lynn. But no one seems to have complimented you on the great work you have done on the colours . . . always difficult when you have both black and white in the photo. This is a superb photo!
