    From last year at Everglades National Park Anhinga Trail one of our resident Anhingas Normally numerous and fun to photograph

    That is just TERRIFIC Alfred!!! The BG is just as good as one could ask, the light is gorgeous, the comp is great and the bird's attitude is simply the best!!! BIG Congrats my dear friend!!

    Great job of capturing the action and killer BKGR. You might want to lighten that ruby iris a bit.

    Really good Al, I love this cute and cool species. The BG is fantastic but I would tone down a little bit to made the bird pop-up from the BG. Love the action, the open beak and the acttitude of this guy.
    BTW I added a little touch of levels adjustment to the eye

    I dodn't mind the original BG, but what I like best about Juan's repost is the difference in the eye and throat pouch. Excellent pose and composition Al!

    Super photo Al! I agree with Daniel; leave the BG unchanged, but incorporate Juan's other changes.
