    This was taken late in the day using Canon 40D and Sigma 50-500mm @f8 ISO 400, 1/500 sec and partial metering mode.

    You got that eye shinning!

    A better light angle would have avoided the shaded part of the body. Maybe some Shadow/Highlight can pull some detail out of it.
    You can make your image 800 pixels on the longest side, as long as it is 145kb or less.

    Well composed in the frame but agree with Fabs re some Shadow/Highlight treatment to soften the harsh shadows. I love that Eye!!

    Fabs, John, thanks for the feedback. I managed to get some details using shadow/highlight without adding too much noise.
