    Typical location for our local Red-tailed Hawk population. I left the insulators in, as I thought it gave a more balanced picture.

    D300, Nikon 80-400VR, hand-held, ISO 800, 1/2500, f8.0.

    Good title for this one. The exposure, pose, and detail are really nice. I'd be tempted to crop from the bottom just enough to get rid of the insulators, then try to add a little back for more room for the tail. That would give you the nice hawk sitting on a post. Just a suggestion as a different view. Well done with this one.

    Looks like a heavy crop. The pole is very busy and takes away from your subject. You can probably clone all that out if you really want the image! If you don't know how to use QM, Robert O'Toole have a very cool guide!

    I would also get rid of the insulators since they tend to distract and compete with the red tail. Adding a bit on the right also.
