    Default Bushtit

    Hey all,
Here's one from this morning. I wish the bill were clear of the veg, but this is still the best I've done with this species so far. As always, all comments appreciated!

    Beautifully captured Neil.
Infact in my opinion the veggie adds a lot to the composition.

Hi Neil, No need to wish that the bill were clear of the vegetation if you are proficient with Quick Masks. This took about three minutes at most. Then I used Protect and Defend cloning to get rid of the leaves below the perch. You can learn about Quick Masks in Robert O'Toole's APTATS CD and the latter from our Digital Basics File--both available from BAA.

BTW, the image is a fine one--love the sharpness and the COMP. Those little buggers are so fast as to be darn near impossible.

Now that repost work is very nice and does make a difference for good in an already great shot. Good work there Arthur.

Yup, nice clean repair. Thanks Arthur. It's not my policy to remove anything from my images, so I'm happy to stick with the original capture. That said, it's helpful to see what you're capable of in 3 minutes :)

I should have added "If that fits with your personal ethics" as I usually do.
