Biopark. I'll be at the Bosque starting Friday afternoon for close to a week. I'll file a field report or two.

Hey Doug, neat flight. The blue speculum is a little bit oversaturated to my taste and that could be due to the low light that tends to do that on the blues. I tried to fix that and to warm up the overal color balance and here is my repost. Glad to see that you are having fun with the ducks and that your new toy works fine:)

Doug, I like this image a lot -- great use of space, and I really like the pose and expression of the bird. Nevertheless, I agreed with Juan regarding the colors in the original. I think his repost makes for an awesome image.

    Cheers,

first thing I thought was it was too cold, Juan's edition is a plus to a great shot.

Beautiful flight pose and the BG is awesome in this one Doug. Sure does bring back memories of Bosque and the glorious colors. Would love to go back again this year. Thanks for sharing this beauty with us.

    Hi Doug,

    Another great shot!!!!

After the not-so-good DPR 50D review, I had decided against purchasing one. Because of the results you and others at BPN are having with the 50D has made me change my mind.

My 40D focus experience on low contrast low light subjects has left a lot to be desired. It appears that the 50D focuses much better under these conditions.

Thanks again for sharing your thoughts on the new camera.

    Have a blessed day - dave b.

I love the background colors Doug and a great wing position showing off the pretty blues. Well Done!

    David,

Here is a link to a 50D review from imaging resource.

I am impressed with the way the 50D dances to Doug's tunes. If I can achieve half of it, then I am fine. :D

Another nice shot Doug! The repost brings out better colours. However, I would go for little less.
    Cheers,

Beautiful capture, Doug. The repost is even better on color. And you managed to get the duck smiling!
