The scenery wasn't too spectacular at Thunder Hole on the morning I was there, so as I usually do, I put photographers into the image.

Well done Mike It does make for a pleasing image The photographers give a sense of proportion and balance the image !!! I like it !!!
Beautiful lighting, Michael! I really love the overall image but can't help but wonder if you had moved a bit to your left if all the photographers would have ended up between the two dark areas in the BG. Not a big deal...just wondering how that would have changed the overall comp (if at all.)
Nice catch on the merge Julie. :)
Not too spectacular light Mike?
Julie you're right on with the merge. I should have paid closer attention. The image was an afterthought as I was heading out to a different location.
The lighting was great, but didn't get those amazing crashing waves that are the norm there.
Hey Michael,
Glad i got an explanation on the light.........it was actually the waves.........because the light was super! Merge mentioned........so I will just ask........did the other location work out?
See my friend Mike Jones got amazing shots there
but the weather always cooperates with him. The sea was calm when I was there. So no rough surf shots. Roughest surf I encountered was as Portland Head and Pemaquid, and even then it was calm.
Well done Michael,
I like the perspective. The photo is beautiful. The colors are fantastic...good show...
Mike you should become a full time landscaper... :)
