Image made on Sunday morning (shortly after sunrise) at Peace Valley Park (Bucks County, PA). I found the reflections interesting - both the reflection of the GBH on the rippling water and the reflection of the rippling water on the side of the heron.

So this is where you've been hiding out! Really nice image, Ed. I agree it could be a tad bit lighter but I really like that you got such a beautiful reflection in the water and the great light striking the side of the bird.
Thank you all for your critiques. As always much appreciated. For those of you (all of you) who said go lighter, I am attaching another image that I made at +2/3 EV rather than +1/3EV as the original. I also lightened it just a bit in Lightroom.
Fabs, you have succeeded in making me crazy with the dust bunny comment!:D;) When I read your comment, I immediately saw what you were referring to. But I really questioned whether they were dust spots. So I ran (OK, I drove) home at lunch and took the camera and lens out and shot the sky at f/32. I saw nothing on the screen... until I looked at the actual pixels of the full sized image. Then I saw what could be several spots but they aren't where they appear on the GBH image. And when I look at a smaller image I see nothing. And when the image is made at f/5.6 and not f/32, those faint spot should disappear. See what I mean about going crazy.
Anyway, I looked at my other GBH images from that morning and found this one. Not only is it made at +2/3 EV but it is also stopped down a bit to f/10. I think those "dust bunnies" may be flotsam on the water. I left them in this version.
