    Default Wilson's Plover

Taken in June. This is one species I REALLY wanted when I was down in Florida, and I finally got my opportunity on my second (and last) morning at Ft. Desoto. It was somewhat wary, but with patience and good stalking methods I was able to approach it quite close! Fill used to try to minimize harshish light.

    Canon 40D + 100-400L @400mm, manual exp., evaluative metering, 1/1600s., f/8, ISO 400, -0.3 EC (histogram checked), fill flash -0.3 FEC, handheld.

Nice pose and details. You did a good job considering the lighting conditions.

    Good one Daniel!!
The whole bird is lit and the whites are not overexposed.
