This was taken a couple of weeks ago when the cold front came in and the beaches at Fort Desoto were almost void of birds as it was extremely cold and very windy. Fortunately we were able to photograph the oystercatchers that remained behind . It was great fun watching them stroll the beach in search of a good breakfast.

I love these birds and I like this shot a lot! There are a few things I would wish, first a lower angle, second a better light angle, and third that the reflection of the other bird in the BG wasn't there. But overall, I love it! Congratualitons Judy!!!

I like the pose and the big mussel adds to it. It has a slight magenta cast on my monitor and I would sharpen a bit less.
