On the road leading to Noris Basin there is a small pond called Swan lake that attracts dozens of Trumperters during their Fall Migration.
I photographed these while I was out scouting a herd of Elk for the mornings photo session.

Man, this is alot nicer than the thumbnail suggests. I love the placement of the three swans in the frame...very well thought out composition. Nice habitat too.
Love the very pretty flight action you captured in this image and a good horizon. Good timing John and it must have been a thrill to see these beauties. Thanks for sharing.
