Hey Tomas, I think we call him Killdeer, nice pose although the habitat is a bit messy. There's a few hot pixels on his belly. Good sharpness, and let's see some more :)

I think it is a European kind of plover, maybe someone else knows the exact name. I agree with Fabs regarding setting and exposure. Keep them coming!

    Hey,

I don't have any access to field guides right now, but off the top of my head I'd say this is a Little Ringed Plover. Looks similar to our Semi-palmated Plover, but note the bright yellow eye ring, vs orange in Semi-palm, also this bird has longer wing extension beyond the primaries and a longer slimmer bill..nice bird. I dream about finding one of these in Newfoundland...maybe some day.

I love the habitat in the lower part of the image and its diagonal slant, but the upper part is rather distracting. Light angle is also not ideal - the tail and back are nicely illuminated but the face is shadowed as a result. Keep them coming! :-)

Charadius dubius is Little Ringed Plover. Whether this bird is, I think so based on what I am seeing in my National Geographic field guide. I agree with the previous assessments of the image.

Yes, English name - Little-ringed Plover. Smaller than our Ringed Plover, (Charadrius hiaticula) it has a dark bill, and that yellow eye ring and does not have a white wing bar. Our Ringed Plover is very similar in size and markings to your Semipalmated Plover, but without the semipalmations.
