    Default Pale Yellow Plumes

I went out yesterday to take shots of roses but it was too windy- These grass plumes were blowing in the wind-So I took several shots w/ slow shutter-speed.I still didn't get the effect I wanted- so I turned the camera to the right as I snapped. I liked the effect so I put a pale yellow filter on it to further soften the effect.

Denise, when I go to do macro and it's windy, I turn the camera the shutter priority and go 1/8 or 1/15 and let the vegetation do the work for me. You'd be surprised at some of the results.
Well composed with an ethereal mood, what's not to like?

I like it, too but I am not fond of the brighter green in the bottom left corner - It tends to pull my eye away. Any way you can tone that bit down just a bit might make for a more "serene" overall image.

    Good work!

Fabs, what a good idea about slowing down the shutter and letting the plant do the moving. Now why have I never thought of that???:confused::eek:

Fabs, Thankyou for the good advice!

Jules- I think all the colors are layered on an angle and I think the light green is the first or final color to the layers.
