    Captured this Mallard flying low at the very end of the day. Some nice light on the water. Wish I had a bit more detail in the head, but that was all there was...

    I added canvas on the left for composition.

    50D, 100-400L IS @ 400mm

    It is flying a bit away from you Keith, that is a nit to me, I would try to take the bird to plain black leaving the GREAT BG as it is, still, as presetend it looks very nic! Congratualitons!

    Love the beautiful water Keith! Don't mind that the bird isn't completely silhouetted. Do wish it was flying towards you.
