Very nice portrait! Could be just a little warmer.

Nice capture, nice buck too! How were the deer numbers, and was there any rutting activity? I am thinking of going to Cades Cove for 3 days over Thanksgiving.

    Bryan,

This is my first trip to Cove. I spent 4 days and did not had much luck first 3 days. Today we ran into quite a few bucks off the beaten path.
Too many visitors and cars. Practically impossible to photograph on main loop. If you find a buck best bet is to follow it. Rutting activity just started I guess.

Excellent capture Sid Love the pose and the open mouth takes it over the top !!! Might clone out the grass merging with its mouth !!!

Nice subject, pose, comp, and BG. I agree with Dan that it looks a bit cool and with Alfred about the grass.

    Sid,
I think the buck is eyeing you and saying something. I find it cool. :D

I like the curves in this image. Like the composition. Nice image. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,

Sid, I love the expression on his face and the beautiful colors in the BG - they really break up what could have been an all brown image.

You do have one OOF grass on the buck's lower body - I'd clone that out as it is a bit distracting.

Nice head turn here Sid. Open mouth is a good addition.
