    Very nice bird, but there is so much perch included that it becomes overpowering and takes over the image. Probably cropping a lot of the bottom would make it stronger. Background is clean and attractive and well oveall exposure and sharpness.

    Thanks for the comment Fabs, I always seem to get busted here for not going in tight enough:). I have always been more inclined to include more of the habitat than in your face cropping, old habit.

    Todd, I'm all for habitat, but in this case, I think it detracts rather than add. The OOF flower in the gold BG is absolutely beautiful, versus the reality od the semi--in focus leaves to the bottom left.
