Made one of my usual trips to the Hawk Conservancy Trust for some bird in flight photo opportunities.
As the winter season is now upon us they introduce some new birds to the display as the crowds are smaller and its not so much of a problem if it all does not go to plan.
I was especially pleased to have my first look at "Sweeney Todd" this years Snowy Owl chick making some passes in Reg's meadow. The sun was quite low down and with the last of the autumnal colours to the hedges and trees in the background I was able to catch a couple of shots i was pleased with.

What a good looking boy.....and wonderful flight image. I'd say you're going to have some phenomenal images this year if this one's any indication.
Beautiful BIF image! I would suggest cloning or blurring the one or two pieces of grass at the LRC - it's just a hair distracting at the edge of the frame.
