    Default Hermit Thrush with Berry

We've had lots of Hermit Thrushes in Central Park over the last week or so (this one was captured yesterday). I was pleased to see this guy with the berry in its bill. Other than the second small catch light which I neglected to notice until I finished working on the photo, how does this one look?

Looks good Beth Particularly like the feel The oof fence complements the image in a big way. Bird is sharp from head to tail with the great camera angle and the placement could not be better !!! Big Congrats on this one !!!

This one is especially nice with the berry and DOF. It has a 3D appearance. Nice framing and just the right pose. Well done.

I have to agree with Al on this one. Did you work on the eye at all?

    Good capture!

Only thing that would have made it better in my opinion is if the body didn't intersect the fence so much. It's a lovely image and the berry in his mouth takes it over the top for me. Nice!

Thanks, everyone! Julie, this was the only image I got of this bird that wasn't blurred (it was pretty low light and I was hand holding), so I'm glad I at least got this, despite the intersecting fence. Maxis, I didn't work on the eye but I think the sharpening emphasized the catchlight a bit.
