    Default Taking Off

This little pied-billed grebe was taking off! Something I had never seen before. They almost never fly.

Cool behavior captured, Taylor. I only have seen them take off away from me. I think that the action would be emphasized with a crop from the bottom and to my eye, a little more sharpening on the grebe might be in order.

Pretty darned cool. I would go for a pano crop (from the bottom). Love the head and the far wing. The position and blur of the near wing are problematic.
