    Default Northern Fulmar (environmental)

Last year I visited Svalbard for about a month and after running two workshops there I had about two weeks left for my own photography together with my dad. It was one of the nicest trips ever and on our last day we went out in a little zodiac to explore the fjords, filled with ice. I was fascinated by the fulmars that were swimming around these massive walls of ice and tried to capture them in this amazing environment.

Hi Artie, I used one of the bottom AF-points and placed them on the right bird. I used continuous AF while both the birds and the zodiac were moving.

Sounds like an amazing experience. You did a nice job of capturing it in an image. The color of the ice is stunning.

I'm a big fan of tubenoses and you captured them in a great environment. I have never seen ice of this color and would love to go there someday.

As others have already said, that ice color is killer. Nice image. A little zodiac close to that ice....... not sure that would be a good idea for me.
