    Warm and bright in the foreground, cool and dark in the distance. A composition of layers of different colors, leading all the way to the tiny little white cloud in the blue sky. A contrast of texture between the land and the sky...You seemed to have followed the book very well. And so it works!

    Do you remember where you took this? It looks very familiar to me as a Death Valley location.

    Depicts Death Valleyin all its desolation. Little white cloud takes it from "Ho hum"

    i like it too, denise! may crop a little off the top...maybe halfway between the frame and the cloud. you got some really nice layering in the mtns and they look tack sharp to me!

    I like it Denise Was tempted to suggest cropping the bottom diagonal layer but will alter the horizon Like it as presented Excellent image !!!!

    Denise, I love the layering of the various fields. The white cloud is an excellent touch. Way to go.... Congrats!!
