    Another shot from South Africa. A pair of Violet-eared waxbills drinking at a waterhole. Would have preferred them both looking in the same direction.

    Beautiful birds, great eye contacts and angle. I might sharpen the head of the bird on the right a bit more.

    I don't know, I kind of like the different direction. Kind of a yin/yang, Janis mask tablaue. The exposure is very nice; the birds are great. Well done.

    Lovely image of beautiful birds - I don't mind the birds looking in different directions.

    Beautiful birds Tony I just wish you could of gotten the bird on the right sharper I do like the comp. and low angle well presented.

    These are amazing birds and not seen too often by me at least. Getting them sitting still long enough to get an image is good enough for me. Brilliant!!!

    Lovely pair of bird. It looks as though they were having a spat and are not speaking to each other :) The overall warmth of colors is appealing.

    Tony I like a lot the composition, light and angle and I don´t mindo about the birds facing opposite directions. Very cool species.
