    I amde this image of a beautiful 6 months old Snowy Owl last week, when I visited friends of mine who work with Owls and Eagles.

    It is made with my Mark III
    Canon 100 - 400
    f 6.3 / 1/400 sec/ ISO 800

    Is this youngster a beauty. Great detail and color....love that BG and open beak. Did you get any full body images?

    The open beak and intense look are just great Bg is pretty special also Colors complement well !!

    The open beak makes this picture even more appealing.
    I wish a little more head angle towards the camera.

    Beautiful and such a great capture of her chatting you up! One suggestion would be to try to get a better look at that left eye...have you tried to do a highlight/shadow adjustment at all? Might be worth a look.
