    Congrats on your first image post! Black vultures photographed against the sky are a tough subject. You did manage to get some detail there, but this image would benefit from positive exposure compensation. I like the fanned tail feathers but the wing position could be better. Lastly I would move the bird more to the right of the frame instead of centering it. Look forward to more of your posts!

    Doug has covered the important points here. I really like that the head is clear of the wing and that single claw at the back looks quite menacing.
