    Hi all,

Well I have let this forum run quiet for a while, so lets generate some interest this winter. It looks like the snow geese are showing up at fir island with the associated birds of prey. As soon as there is a break in the rain I think we are headed up there to work the tidal flats and see the geese and tundra swans.

Where are some of your favorite places to go during the winter months to chase your favorite subjects??

Fir island has been good for snow geese. Trumpeters are all over, quite a few on Dry Slough road but hard to get near. There are many trumpeters in the lower Stilly from Silvana down to the mouth. Many are overnighting at Sunday Lake. Heard there were some down near Snohomish where hwy 9 and the airport meet
Lots of hawks and eagles up near Sammish Island
    Good luck!

    Hi Shawn,

Thanks for the info. I can confirm the snow geese hanging out in snohomish in the fields around hwy 9 and a bit further up the snoqualmie flood plain.
