Yesterday I posted a loon chick and one of the members commented that he'd prefer one with a reflection. Well, here it is.

    D2X, 200-400mm f4 @ 380mm, f4.5, 1/90, ISO 800

Geez Ivan, what a fuzz ball :)

Great details on the feathers. Funny, instead of you going to Canon, we went Nikon ;)
I think it needs a slight CW rotation.
    Beautiful job!

Nice feather detail. A little more real estate around the bird would be an asset. I also feel there is too much noise. I would select the bird and reverse selection and apply de-noising software to the background. It doesn't appear you had much light to work with - thus the noise and ISO 800 setting. The reflection doesn't do much for me because it is so soft, but I really like how well the bird came out. I'd be tempted to clone out the reflection.

This calls for a cutness alert Ivan. Lovely capture of this baby loon but as mentioned I would like to see a little more room and especially to the left and also a little CW rotation.

A very cute little fellow. Id like to see more canvas all around, some noise removal on the BG and some CW rotation.
