    The splash of yellows and reds are quite refreshing here...and you got a great BG. I wish the branch wasn't running directly behind your subject's head, and I also could do without the twig going down directly underneath it (that one should be easy to eliminate if you are so inclined to do that kind of stuff). Another selective round of USM would also help with the apparent softness on the bird's face (critical focus looks like its on the wingtip/tail).

    Love the colours in the BG but have to agree that the eye and head are not in sharp focus.
