    Nikon D70s 70-200VR@190 1/2000 f3.2 ISO200 aperture priority

    While going over some pictures from six months ago I came across this one. I like the way the dowitcher (I think) has its wings spread, is skidding into the shore, putting one foot down, preparing to walk up onto land. The image is heavily cropped and sharpened but otherwise as captured. I would have cropped even more, but I wanted some of its wake and its destination to show. C&C, please.

    Only needs to be larger in frame !!! Capturing those little speedy guys is difficult !!! Image has help up well with the crop.

    I like the idea of showing the wake but would like a different proportion to accentuate forward motion !!!

    Hi Wendell,
    I like the capture,I agree with Mr. Forns' suggestions...I would like to see this type of action in pano form...good show...:cool:

    Gus, I've tried the "pano" by now, and the image does show much better . . .

    Great timing, Wendall! I agree that a different crop would be better but you did an excellent job of freezing the action!
