Taken in Russia Quick grab shot with the Leica M6 and a 50 Summilux I pre focus then lifted the camera and made the image, time looking through the viewfinder about one second !! Slide film
Fabulous! Love that they all have green scarves on their heads! Have you ever thought about doing a b&w conversion and leaving just the green head wear??? Could be pretty cool!
I love images of people that show them in their element and capture the essence of the culture they live in. Their is nothing like the Russian, Ukraine people for doing just that. Their faces look worn, haggard and filled with life's experiences. Your image has captured a small glimpse into their window of life Alfred. I am remided of Times Life Magazine with this image. Well done.
Cool "candid" shot. I like the way you stealthfully grabbed it also:D. Very nice treatment with Julie's idea. I couldn't resist adding an "orton" layer and then erasing it from the heads and hands
